Stayz aren't just about your every-day run of the mill holiday accommodation, take a look at the pimped-out mansion-like properties on their books. Sometimes you can even stumble across the kind of place that conjours up visions. Visions of yourself donning a smoking jacket while you twirl your moustache and sip your oh-so-icy martini... somewhere jazz is playing, and the distinct sound of lesser people doing stuff for you drifts across the smoke-filled room. But I digress.
The mansions can turn out to be cheaper than a hotel room, if you don't mind sharing the east and west wings with a few of your mates.
The catch? They could definitely use an overhaul of their search function, sometimes it's really hard to find what you're after on their site. Also, you're subject to a lack of professional property management (and sometimes slow turnaround times) of generally the owner of the property. But worth it for a bargain, a cozy place to stay and a working kitchen! Keep an eye on the site, the properties update from time to time.
